Colin Quinn “One In Every Crowd”

From the old MTV days to SNL to Comedy Central to Broadway, CQ is apparently refusing to leave the business. So if you enjoyed his other one man shows, or you just are at a place in your life where you are lost and you need intelligent laughs, come see his new show. One In Every Crowd. Milwaukee Comedy Festival presents Colin Quinn, “One In Every Crowd” on Friday, August 3, 8pm at Turner Hall Ballroom.

11pm at The Underground Collaborative

This late night show will feature stand up and sketch comedy from Chicago and Los Angeles.  The night will feature stand up from Jeena Bloom (Host), Los Angeles, Sharup Karim, Chicago, Mike Hover, Chicago and sketch comedy from Buzz Off Lucille, Los Angeles.

About the comics:

Jeena Bloom (Host)
Stand up, Los Angeles
I am a transgender female comic with a love of dressing ridiculously onstage. I’ve appeared or am scheduled to appear at The Park Slope Comedy Festival, The Lady Laughs Festival, Diverse as Fuck Comedy Festival, 6th Borough Comedy Festival and Solocom 2017.

Sharup Karim
Stand up, Chicago

Sharup Karim is a South Asian American comic who was born in a village in Bangladesh, but raised primarily by ’90s television in the Caucasian cornucopias of Oklahoma City.
As a satirist of various topics regarding society, Sharup’s comedy integrates his experiences of somehow surviving in America as a western minority through self-deprecation, observational humor, and witticism. He has performed at various notable venues in Chicago including Zanies, The Second City, and The Laugh Factory. In 2017 he received the opportunity to advance into the second round of the NBC Standup Chicago auditions. Also in 2017 he has headlined at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland, and was selected to debut his solo show “Drown and Out” at New York City’s SOLOCOM Festival. Currently he is on a multi-city tour with two other comics titled “Outcasted Comedy” that has sold out theatres in Chicago, Washington D.C., New York City, and San Francisco.

Mike Hover
Stand up, Chicago
Mike Hover sometimes goes outside to perform comedy. When he does, it’s a fun roller coaster of randomness; poking fun at everything from relationships to time travel. He’s spontaneous, clean, and adorable. His mom didn’t write this. Mike has been seen at Zanies Comedy Clubs, being eaten by a dinosaur on the SyFy Channel, and is currently training at Second City in Chicago.

Buzz Off, Lucille (Headliner)
Sketch, New York City
Buzz Off, Lucille is a New York based sketch team featuring Abby Holland, Molly Gaebe, Jenn Roman and Julie Rosing. Their videos have been featured on Huffington Post, College Humor, VH1 and Lady Parts Justice. Their live shows “Fuck Judy Towers” and “Balls Deep” both ran at the Upright Citizen Brigade Theatre.
