The Milwaukee Comedy Festival accepts submissions for stand up comedy, one-person shows, alternative comedy acts and musical comedy. The 20th Milwaukee Comedy Festival will be October 7 – 12th, 2025. Submissions are accepted March 3 – May 9, 2025.

SUBMISSIONS for 2025 Start March 3rd!

Early Bird: March 3-7, $10
General: March 8 – May 4, $25
Late Submissions: May 5 – 9, $40
NO SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE.

We review each and every submission we receive. Selections are made by a local panel of judges including the producers and staff of the festival and select area comedy professionals. Applications are judged on quality, originality, professionalism, audience reaction and above all, funniness. Comics chosen to perform in The Fest typically have several years of professional stand up experience. If you think you have what it takes we encourage you to apply.
