DESCRIPTION:Milwaukee Record’s long-running Roast Of Milwaukee event is back! Like previous years\, the event—which is done in association with the Milwaukee Comedy Festival—will feature a stacked cast of local comedians gently (or\, in some cases\, viciously) making fun of our fair city. This year’s Roast Of Milwaukee will take place at The Cooperage on Wednesday\, October 5.  \n\n\n\n Buy Tickets Here! \n\n\n\nThis year’s locally-sourced batch of Roasters includes: Dana Ehrmann\, Ton Johnson\, Luise Noé\, Mark Vegas\, Ryan Mason\, Raegan Niemela\, Chris Schmidt\, and more TBA. Joining the homegrown humorists is event host Kristin Brey of “As Goes Wisconsin\,” as well as a handful of surprise guests taking swipes at the city. \n\n\n\nAnd the laughs won’t just be at the expense of Milwaukee. A portion of the show’s proceeds will be donated to Milwaukee Women’s Center. Event sponsor Lakefront Brewery will have beers on special all night long. Tickets—which are limited to just 160 available seats!!!—are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. The fun starts at 7:30 p.m (doors at 6:30 p.m.). We’ll see you there!

She was the first comedian ever to perform stand-up on Comedy Central’s Lights Out with David Spade\, where she then became a red carpet correspondent and a regular panelist. She is a paid regular at every comedy club in Hollywood and her stand-up was featured in the Comedy Store documentary on Showtime in the fall of 2020. Her sweet\, innocent bluntness has quickly made her a fan favorite nationwide. \n\n\n\nDon’t miss the closing night show of the 2021 Milwaukee Comedy Festival with headliner Lara Beitz (Los Angeles\, CA) along with Prateek Srivastava (Chicago\, IL)\, Jamie Wolf (New York\, NY)\, and Tok Moffat (Chicago\, IL)! \n\n\n\nDoors open at 6:15pm\, show starts at 7pm. He has toured internationally as the cherry-picked opening act for Tenacious D and Faith No More. He attended orthodox Jewish school\, lived in a religious community\, and lived in a Jewish seminary in Israel (known as a Yeshiva) for 2 years. Once he returned to America\, Ari lost his religion\, realizing he was\, and probably always had been\, an atheist. For the next two decades\, he came to terms with the religious upbringing and thoughts that are rooted deeply within him. And now\, 20 years later\, he’s finally ready to talk about Judaism from both an insider perspective who knows more than almost anyone about the religion\, and also from an outsider perspective as someone who has no allegiance to the teachings.
