DESCRIPTION:Milwaukee Record’s long-running “Roast Of Milwaukee” event is back! Like previous years\, the event—which is done in association with the Milwaukee Comedy Festival—will feature a stacked cast of local comedians gently (or\, in some cases\, viciously) making fun of our fair city. This year’s Roast Of Milwaukee will take place at The Cooperage on Monday\, September 30. Tickets are on sale NOW. \n\n\n\nThis year’s event hosted by TMJ4’s James Groh and features a wide range of locally-sourced Roasters including Dana Ehrmann\, AJ Grill\, Luise Noé\, Syed Hasnain\, Elijah Holbrook\, Caitlin Baratti\, as well as a few extra special surprise guests dropping in to take some swipes at the city. \n\n\n\nAnd the laughs won’t just be at the expense of Milwaukee. A portion of the show’s proceeds will be donated to Milwaukee Women’s Center. Event sponsors Lakefront Brewery and Great Lakes Distillery will have beverages on special all night long.  \n\n\n\nTickets—which are limited to just 200!!!—are $18 in advance and $24 at the door. According to Wikipedia\, he is a notable person from that town. Other notable residents of Addison have been the boxer Leon Spinks and a woman who wrote poetry about Beanie Babies. \n\n\n\nAs a comedian raised in such a cultural fondue pot as this\, it was natural for Kyle to find his way from warehouse work into show business. He has been seen on Conan\, The Tonight Show\, Netflix’s “The Standups\,” and three of his own hour-length specials on Comedy Central. As an actor\, he’s been in the Judd Apatow series “Love” and truTV’s “Those Who Can’t.” He was also on “Drunk History\,” where he unfortunately wasn’t acting. As a voice over actor\, he was the former voice of Comedy Central for 8 years and currently plays Bullet on the Netflix series “Paradise PD.” He is also cohost of the Boogie Monster podcast along with Dave Stone\, and the podcast “No Accounting for Taste” with Shane Torres. As a musician\, he has done nothing\, as he is not a musician. \n\n\n\nIn 2020\, in partnership with 800 LB Gorilla Records\, Kyle released an animated short produced by Meister alongside his album “Trampoline In A Ditch” to critical acclaim. \n\n\n\nKyle’s newest effort “Shocks & Struts” releases March 30th on YouTube\, and marks his return to live-action stand-up after his 2018 set on Netflix’s “The Standups.” \n\n\n\n“When you’re here\, you’re family.” \n\n\n\nAbout the Milwaukee Comedy FestivalThe Milwaukee Comedy Festival is Wisconsin’s largest multi-day comedy event\, celebrating 18 years of presenting the best local\, regional\, and national comedic talent. While getting her B.S. in Communication Studies from Texas Christian University\, she performed improv for four years and taught the art form for three. At TCU\, she got to open for SNL’s Vanessa Bayer and Aidy Bryant\, as well as NBC’s Retta and BJ Novak. \n\n\n\nSince moving to LA in 2016\, Kelly can now be seen performing on any given night. Her “home club” is the iconic Hollywood Improv and she is in development at The Comedy Store. During the pandemic\, Kelly moved to Portland where she continued standup when possible. In August of 2021 she was named the winner of the Portland’s Funniest Person competition at Helium Comedy Club. This year\, she can be seen headlining and featuring for acts like Anthony Jeselnik\, Bert Kreischer\, Whitney Cummings and more. \n\n\n\nShe co-hosts NIGHTCOOP\, a podcast\, with her twin sister\, Ali.

DESCRIPTION:Milwaukee Record’s long-running Roast Of Milwaukee event is back! Like previous years\, the event—which is done in association with the Milwaukee Comedy Festival—will feature a stacked cast of local comedians gently (or\, in some cases\, viciously) making fun of our fair city. This year’s Roast Of Milwaukee will take place at The Cooperage on Wednesday\, October 5.  \n\n\n\n Buy Tickets Here! \n\n\n\nThis year’s locally-sourced batch of Roasters includes: Dana Ehrmann\, Ton Johnson\, Luise Noé\, Mark Vegas\, Ryan Mason\, Raegan Niemela\, Chris Schmidt\, and more TBA. Joining the homegrown humorists is event host Kristin Brey of “As Goes Wisconsin\,” as well as a handful of surprise guests taking swipes at the city. \n\n\n\nAnd the laughs won’t just be at the expense of Milwaukee. A portion of the show’s proceeds will be donated to Milwaukee Women’s Center. Event sponsor Lakefront Brewery will have beers on special all night long. Tickets—which are limited to just 160 available seats!!!—are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. The fun starts at 7:30 p.m (doors at 6:30 p.m.). We’ll see you there!
