According to Wikipedia\, he is a notable person from that town. Other notable residents of Addison have been the boxer Leon Spinks and a woman who wrote poetry about Beanie Babies. \n\n\n\nAs a comedian raised in such a cultural fondue pot as this\, it was natural for Kyle to find his way from warehouse work into show business. He has been seen on Conan\, The Tonight Show\, Netflix’s “The Standups\,” and three of his own hour-length specials on Comedy Central. As an actor\, he’s been in the Judd Apatow series “Love” and truTV’s “Those Who Can’t.” He was also on “Drunk History\,” where he unfortunately wasn’t acting. As a voice over actor\, he was the former voice of Comedy Central for 8 years and currently plays Bullet on the Netflix series “Paradise PD.” He is also cohost of the Boogie Monster podcast along with Dave Stone\, and the podcast “No Accounting for Taste” with Shane Torres. As a musician\, he has done nothing\, as he is not a musician. \n\n\n\nIn 2020\, in partnership with 800 LB Gorilla Records\, Kyle released an animated short produced by Meister alongside his album “Trampoline In A Ditch” to critical acclaim. \n\n\n\nKyle’s newest effort “Shocks & Struts” releases March 30th on YouTube\, and marks his return to live-action stand-up after his 2018 set on Netflix’s “The Standups.” \n\n\n\n“When you’re here\, you’re family.” \n\n\n\nAbout the Milwaukee Comedy FestivalThe Milwaukee Comedy Festival is Wisconsin’s largest multi-day comedy event\, celebrating 18 years of presenting the best local\, regional\, and national comedic talent. Line up is Brian Lirot (Chicago\, IL)\, Dana Ehrmann (Milwaukee\, WI)\, and headliner Kelly Ryan (Los Angeles\, CA). \n\n\n\nBuy Tickets Here! \n\n\n\nKelly Ryan started stand up at the age of 17 in NYC. While getting her B.S. in Communication Studies from Texas Christian University\, she performed improv for four years and taught the art form for three. At TCU\, she got to open for SNL’s Vanessa Bayer and Aidy Bryant\, as well as NBC’s Retta and BJ Novak. \n\n\n\nSince moving to LA in 2016\, Kelly can now be seen performing on any given night. Her “home club” is the iconic Hollywood Improv and she is in development at The Comedy Store. During the pandemic\, Kelly moved to Portland where she continued standup when possible. In August of 2021 she was named the winner of the Portland’s Funniest Person competition at Helium Comedy Club. This year\, she can be seen headlining and featuring for acts like Anthony Jeselnik\, Bert Kreischer\, Whitney Cummings and more. \n\n\n\nShe co-hosts NIGHTCOOP\, a podcast\, with her twin sister\, Ali.

This year’s Roast Of Milwaukee will take place at The Cooperage on Wednesday\, October 5.  \n\n\n\n Buy Tickets Here! \n\n\n\nThis year’s locally-sourced batch of Roasters includes: Dana Ehrmann\, Ton Johnson\, Luise Noé\, Mark Vegas\, Ryan Mason\, Raegan Niemela\, Chris Schmidt\, and more TBA. Joining the homegrown humorists is event host Kristin Brey of “As Goes Wisconsin\,” as well as a handful of surprise guests taking swipes at the city. \n\n\n\nAnd the laughs won’t just be at the expense of Milwaukee. So if you enjoyed his other one man shows\, or you just are at a place in your life where you are lost and you need intelligent laughs\, come see his new show. One In Every Crowd. Milwaukee Comedy Festival presents Colin Quinn\, “One In Every Crowd” on Friday\, August 3\, 8pm at Turner Hall Ballroom. \nTickets are $29.50 and available via the Pabst Theater Box Office\, online or by calling (414) 286-3663. \nColin Quinn is a stand-up comedian\, actor\, and writer. On television\, he is best known for his work on Saturday Night Live\, where he anchored Weekend Update\, on MTV’s 1980s game show Remote Control\, where he served as the announcer/sidekick\, and as host of Comedy Central’s late-night panel show Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn. Notable film work includes his role as Dooey in A Night at the Roxbury\, Dickey Bailey in the Grown Ups films and playing Amy Schumer’s father in the film Trainwreck. Comedians such as Jerry Seinfeld and Dave Attell cite him as the quintessential New York comedian. \nQuinn has also become known for his comedic one-man shows that offer his unique takes on history and growing up in New York City. DESCRIPTION:Tuesday\, July 31\n7:30pm at Frank’s Powerplant\nPre Kick Off Showcase\n*Special Event!* \nGet warmed up for the marathon of comedy that is the Milwaukee Comedy Festival with the official Pre Kick-Off Stand Up Showcase!  This event will feature some of the best stand up Wisconsin has to offer including host Raegan Niemela and comics Rich D’Amore\, Christopher Schmidt\, Ton Johnson and John Egan. \nAbout the Comics: \nRich D’Amore\nStand Up\,\nMy goal is to save up as many drink tickets as I can. I try to waste everyone’s time with my nonsense and bring as many smiles to as many faces as I can. Getting people to forget their troubles and just laugh. I used to pick my nose and one time almost died a bunch of times. So I’m just loving living. And I’m living my dream. Comedy is The therapy. Amen. \nChristopher Schmidt\nStand Up\, Milwaukee\nChristopher Schmidt is a Milwaukee based comic who writes punchlines to avoid fixating on the inevitable consequences of mortality. A quick-witted misfit with a penchant for misdirection\, the only thing Chris enjoys more than watching an audience try to figure out where his jokes are going is savoring their reaction when he gets there. Mr. Schmidt is the weekly host of Milwaukee’s long running Duck and Cover Comedy Hour and has opened for comics such as Nick Vatterott\, Ben Kronberg\, and Tom Clark. \nTon Johnson\nStand Up\, Milwaukee\nAnton “Ton” Johnson uses his comedy as a platform for the questions people won’t ask and the things they won’t say. Based out of the Milwaukee area\, Ton is quickly making a name for himself throughout the Midwestern and Southern circuits with his versatile material and quick witted delivery\, winning several comedy competitions\, participating in festivals and opening for various headliners. \nJohn Egan (Headliner)\nStand Up\, Green Bay\nJohn Egan is a comedian and a Wisconsin native. He has been doing improv and stand-up since high school. John has been called “one of the most relatable comedians out there today” by his peers\, fellow comedians and club owners /managers.
