8 Great Years: Comedy Festival Launches Laughs!
Annual Event features funny stand up, improv & sketch comedy.
MILWAUKEE, WIS. – The Milwaukee Comedy Festival, Wisconsin’s largest comedy event, presents seven different shows, Aug. 1-4, 2013 at the Next Act Theatre space, 255 S. Water St. in historic Walker’s Point, Milwaukee, Wis. The annual event will feature professional stand up, improvisation and sketch comedy from across the country. Several Kick Off Events will offer four additional comedy shows in the days leading up to the 2013 Milwaukee Comedy Festival. Tickets are available via http://festival.milwaukeecomedy.com for $15 or $18 at the door day of show.
“The comedy festival is eight years strong this year,” said Matt Kemple, Founder and Producer of the Milwaukee Comedy Festival, “I’m excited to present so many hilarious shows with some of the best and brightest talent in the national comedy scene.”
Kemple and Co-Producer Patrick Schmitz present the festival, which this year offers workshops, giveaways and more throughout the event.

The Milwaukee Comedy Festival (formerly the Sketch and Improv Comedy Festival) was founded in 2006 to support and grow the comedy scene in Milwaukee. The Festival aspires to cultivate an active comedy community where performers can hone their craft, create new and exciting comedy, and foster an inviting environment for both audiences and fellow performers. This year, the Milwaukee Comedy Festival celebrates eight years of top-notch comedy.
